Skokie Public Library always does such a wonderful Summer Reading Program for our Skokie students! Here is the link with everything you need to know!
Skokie Summer Reading Program Kindergarten uses puppets to spark their imaginations during storytelling! We had some pretty spectacular stories and characters! So fun!
Kindergarten is all smiles when working with the Keva blocks. The challenge was to build the tallest thing you can with only twelve blocks! They did a great job talking through their ideas and even when things got hard, they kept trying! Way to go Kindergarten!
We started a Rotten Tomatoes Board today! The first book out of the gate got added to the board with a resounding "Certified FRESH!" Infamous Ratsos got lots of laughs and the series then flew off the shelves!
Our 5th graders have begun recording their news stories! They choose a story from a kid friendly news site, took notes, and wrote a script to capture what they felt their audience should know. Great work 5th grade!
