Project B3 is a program that has older students, teach younger students about the 3 pillars of Digital Citizenship; Be Safe, Be Smart, Be Kind...B3! Project B3 believes these 3 pillars will guide us toward success online. Our 8th grade students from OOJH did a wonderful job of relaying this important message!

Obviously technology is a wonderful tool and if used responsibly, can be a powerful way to access information, learn, and be creative. However, we need to be aware of the pitfalls of technology use and take steps to prevent possible problems. Media Balance is something we talk about at each grade level during LMC time as part of our Digital Citizenship Curriculum. I saw this commercial and thought they really hit the mark on the topic of media balance.
I could not be more proud of the 4th and 5th graders who took part in Battle of the Books! Teams read a total of 20 books and "battled" other teams on the details of those books. Everybody did excellent! The winning team of Devonshire School made us most proud with their efforts and wonderful sportsmanship! Great job all!
